If you are already a member of a face-to-face Christ-based recovery group, we urge you to continue your meetings. Christian Recovery Online is not here to replace those meetings, but to extend the services to those attending. We are here to help bring Christians with hurts, habits and hang-ups together in fellowship.
Once you join a group you are encouraged to contact those in your group and support each other's recovery.
Step lessons are available. You will be notified of day and time for the meeting. At the completion of the Steps you will receive a Certificate. Sobriety awards will also be given at different stages of your recovey.
For anyone that would also like to participate in our online share program, follow the steps below.

1. Choose a Group
(Some groups listed here are not currently available but are added when enough people request membership.)

2. Join a Group
To join a group...go "Here". You will then see a list of groups at the bottom of the page. To request membership in one of the recovery groups, select the radial button to the right of the group name. then click the "submit" button at the bottom right corner. You will receive an email or PM once your request has been approved. You will then be added to the group you have requested. Your private group forum will then appear in the root of the CR main forum. You will be contacted by general CR membership email to advice you of the CR schedule.
3. What will be required of you?
One of the most
important steps for a Newcomer—is that they must initiate their own recoveries and
seek new relationships. A Newcomer must take responsibility for their own recovery. For any recovery program to work, you have to work it. You must ernestly apply the steps, principles, and lessons. Here are some new healthy habits to form:
Contact those in your group and support each other's recovery!
Attending as many of the 8:00 pm fellowship meetings as possible.
Fellowship any time of the day with members of your group!
Having regular
private chats with your sponsor.
Reading God's Word daily. (Daily reading plan
)
Sharing your progress in developing these new habits in the forums daily.
Remember! These meetings are as close as your PC that you probably use daily. You have no excuses such as; you don't have the time to go to the meetings, they are too far away, I do not have the money for the gas this week, etc.
4. Find Your Way Around the Forums (Post You Introduction)
After joining the group you will then be able to view the group forum and begin to post. For privacy all these forums are invisible to the public they will only appear after you become a member. These forums are available 24/7. All the steps and lessons will be posted in the private forums fo you sto work anytime you wish and at your own pace.
For Direct access to your group, go to the main forum (Board Index) Just to the left of the Chat Box you will see a black menu. Click on the "CR Forum Access" then the name of your group to go directly to your forums. If you are not a member of the group you will get a message saying, "You are not authorised to read the forum" If you feel you should have access, contact the Administrator.
5. Get to Know the Chat Rooms
General Fellowship:
(guest welcome) - General chat and Bible Study every night at 8:00 EST. Open 24/7 for general chat
Bondage Breaker Study:
(guest welcome) - Study of the book Bondage Breaker by Neil Anderson Wednesday nights at 8:00 EST.
Movie Romm (members only):
Watch a full length movie any time of the day or night.
Ladies Room (members only):
Just for the ladies to chat ladies stuff.
CR General Share:
(guest welcome) - Meetings Thursday at 7:30 pm EST. You will be notified of weekly discussion topics.
Chemically Dependent - Men/Women:
(Alcohol/Drugs) Members of the Chemically Dependent group meet here (password required).
Codependency - Women:
Members of the Codependency - Women group meet here (password required).
Physical/Emotional and Sexual Abuse - Women:
